A Sampling-Art Project / Art in Permanent Fragmentation:

An attempt to build an Art-Bridge for a global connection of collective associations:

The notion of our Project sampling Art somehow implies that we gather materials and fragments from many different sources of artworks and paintings that are already existing. It is like using citations in an essay. In other words, we must differentiate the nature of the citation: whether it is used by a writer or by a visual artist. In that light, it seems that our project Pro-Arca practices and employs a multitude of methods to re-create a diverse variety of compositions. Hence, our pluralistic approach to the act is also found on two levels: innovation and recuperation in an attempt to build a cultural Bridge for a global connetion of a collective cuktural association.

Our “Sampling-Art Project” is a unique Project which aims to recycle and fragment art to sample it for a new context. However, this collection of Art-works, or “samples”, does not require a connection to their origins. We call this Art in Permanent Fragmentation where we are to bring together different art styles and aesthetic directions. However, this collection of works, or “samples”, does not require a connection to their origins, but acts as raw material for new creations and art compositions. They are not just produced compositions, as the elements come from different visual and cultural backgrounds. Whether they are from earlier genres of painting, new computerized imagery, or popular culture or folklore art, is irrelevant to us. What they have in common is some variation of the original context, thanks to a newly composed framing.
