With OFF BEAT — When the Unexpected Occurs, the artist introduces a new body of work in which abstraction, materiality, and process-driven painting condense into atmospherically charged pictorial spaces. Drawing from natural rhythms and intuitive gestures, these works unfold with quiet intensity, where color becomes an experience of energy, movement, and transformation.
At the core of this series is the unpredictable as a creative force — moments of disruption, rhythmic displacement, and subtle surprise become carriers of a poetic visual language suspended between control and chance.
Peter Gospodinov’s new works invite viewers to experience painting as a contemplative space and as a field of resonance between perception and imagination.

Peter Gospodinov präsentiert mit OFF BEAT — When the Unexpected Occurs eine neue Werkgruppe, die Abstraktion, Farbrhythmen und die Poetik des Unvorhersehbaren erforscht.
In dieser neuen Serie verdichten sich Abstraktion, Materialität und prozesshafte Malerei zu atmosphärisch aufgeladenen Bildräumen. Ausgehend von natürlichen Rhythmen und intuitiven Gesten entfalten die Arbeiten eine stille Intensität, in der Farbe als Energie, Bewegung und Transformation erfahrbar wird.
Im Zentrum der Serie steht das Unvorhersehbare als schöpferische Kraft — Momente von Irritation, rhythmischer Verschiebung und subtiler Überraschung werden zu Trägern einer poetischen Bildsprache zwischen Kontrolle und Zufall.
Peter Gospodinovs neue Arbeiten laden dazu ein, Malerei als kontemplativen Raum und als Resonanzfeld zwischen Wahrnehmung und Imagination zu erleben.
